The restoration of a specialized school in the Ilyichevsky district of Mariupol is being completed.

The company RKS-NR LLC, together with the Capital Repair Fund of the Moscow Region, is completing the restoration of a school in the Ilyichevsky district of Mariupol.

The building was built in 1961, the total area is 3 333.22 m2.

Currently, 759 students attend the educational institution.

The school building has not been repaired for a long time. The roof and part of the premises were damaged as a result of artillery shelling, and all the windows were broken by the shock wave.

As the school director said: “The teaching staff of the school and local residents selflessly preserved the entire material and technical base of the institution during the hostilities.

In March 2022, staff gathered on the territory of the partially destroyed school and did everything possible to resume the educational process for students in ninth, tenth and eleventh grades within two months. Thus, future graduates were able to successfully complete the academic year, despite the current circumstances”.

The educational institution took under its wing children from all over the region, including villages whose schools were in extremely poor condition.
